Complaints
If something has gone wrong, tell us directly — we would rather hear about it and put it right.
How to raise a complaint
Contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp with your name, your enquiry or listing reference if you have one, and a description of what happened. The more detail you can give — dates, names, screenshots — the faster we can look into it.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your complaint and log it.
- A member of our team reviews what happened, including any records we hold.
- We come back to you with our findings and, where appropriate, what we will do to put things right.
- If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can ask for the complaint to be reviewed again by the business owner.
Complaints about marketplace listings
Equipment on the marketplace is advertised by independent sellers, and Maximus does not own, inspect or guarantee it. If your complaint concerns a listing — for example inaccurate information or a seller's conduct — tell us and we will investigate; we can suspend or remove listings where a complaint is upheld. Disputes about a sale itself are between the buyer and the seller, but we will always help where we can.
