UK vehicle and machinery collections, delivery to the Maximus yard by arrangement, and onward transport to UK ports. Based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom; trailer access and provider suitability are confirmed for each load.

Collection to port — choose what you need
UK collections
HGVs, trailers, plant, cars and vans; collection-only or onward delivery, subject to route access and suitable transport.
Yard & temporary storage
Delivery to the Peterborough yard and secure temporary storage by arrangement, subject to space, site permissions, insurance and written confirmation.
Loading arrangements
Customer-managed loading by appointment or Maximus-arranged professional loading, only after the method and competent provider are confirmed.
Port & container transfers
Onward delivery of a loaded container to port, UK port transfers, or a complete coordinated package, subject to carrier and port acceptance.
England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are UK movements. Republic of Ireland requests are separate international movements requiring customs, shipping and destination review; they are not treated as UK domestic collections.
A container lift is not container loading
A sideloader lifts a container between the ground and a trailer. Sideloader transport or container-lift handling is available only subject to provider confirmation. Maximus does not claim ownership of a sideloader, specialist trailer, crane, loading bay or container-handling equipment.
Putting vehicles or machinery inside a container is a separate task: it requires appropriately rated ramps, a suitable method statement, competent handlers, verified weights and restraints. We do not promise a full container packing service until equipment and competence are confirmed.
Loading safely, by appointment
Self-loading is allowed only by prior appointment, site rules and insurance review. The plan must cover safe access, loading and unloading equipment, cargo weight, axle/container limits and load securing. Customer-loaded cargo remains subject to checks and may be refused if unsafe.
